Correct Harmonized System (HS) code declaration is vital to ensure accurate customs tariff calculation and smooth port clearance:
1. Ordering, MOQs & Mixed Container Policy
What is your Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for standard vs custom products?
For standard dimensions and profiles, our MOQ is 1 to 2 metric tons per specification. For specialized non-standard wall thicknesses, custom PVD colors, or complex profiles, MOQ is 3 to 5 metric tons to offset mill setup costs.
Can we order a mixed container combining square tubes, posts, and glass fittings?
Yes! Over 70% of our global distributor orders are mixed containers. You can mix different profiles, surface finishes (Satin and 8K Mirror), and glass spigot hardware in a single 20ft or 40HQ container. Each bundle is individually color-capped for warehouse inventory tracking.
How do you handle sample requests before committing to a bulk container order?
We supply sample pieces (tube cut-offs or finish swatch wheels) for qualified B2B distributors. Sample courier freight charges (via DHL/FedEx) can be credited back against your first container deposit.
2. Pricing, Raw Material Price Locking & Payment Terms
How do you handle raw stainless steel coil price fluctuations (London Nickel / LME)?
Stainless steel product pricing is directly tied to raw coil market rates. Upon issuing an official proforma invoice (PI), SANON locks your unit price for 3 to 5 business days. Once the deposit is received, raw coils are immediately allocated at the locked rate to insulate you from market inflation.
What payment terms do you accept for B2B export shipments?
Our primary trade term is T/T (30% deposit upon order confirmation, 70% balance paid against Bill of Lading copy). For long-term partner distributors or large orders, we also accept 100% Irrevocable L/C at Sight from tier-1 international banks.
Do you support DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping to my warehouse?
Yes, in addition to standard FOB and CIF terms, we offer door-to-door DDP logistics services for key markets in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, covering customs import duties and inland trucking.
3. Quality Warranties & Claim Procedures
What is the procedure if delivered products have dimensional or surface defects?
If dimensional discrepancies or surface issues are identified upon container opening, buyers can submit photo/video evidence along with the bundle heat stamp number for verification. SANON works with customers to identify causes and provide appropriate solutions based on verified conditions.
What material warranty do you provide for Grade 304 and 316L in outdoor environments?
Grade 304 carries a 5-year anti-pitting warranty in normal atmospheric environments. Grade 316/316L carries a 10-year marine corrosion warranty when installed according to recommended cleaning maintenance standards.
