1. Match Heat Stamp Numbers
Every product bundle carries a laser-etched or stamped Heat Number. Match this number directly to Section 1 of the EN 10204 3.1 Certificate.
2. Audit Chemical Element Ratios
Verify Grade 304 contains ≥ 8.0% Nickel and ≥ 18.0% Chromium. For Grade 316L, verify Molybdenum (Mo) is between 2.0% and 3.0%.
3. Review Tensile & Hardness Data
Check mechanical values: Yield Strength (Rp0.2 ≥ 205 MPa), Tensile Strength (Rm 515-1030 MPa), and Elongation (A5 ≥ 40%).
